BayCom Bulletin #1, 24.11.96

Hello friends,

this is the first in a series of bulletins we are going to
set up to improve communication with BayCom users all over the world.
We will send out a bulletin whenever enough stuff to be reported has
accumulated here.

Because this first BayCom bulletin is kind of an experiment for
us, we will keep it really short. Just some news:

*** Delays due to a journey
I have been abroad frequently during the last 8 weeks. Thus, many
orders and requests were not processed yet. I apologize for any
inconvenience.

*** PICPAR modem now available with english docs
The new PICPAR-modem for 9600Bd is now available with
english documentations.The planned SMD project on the PICPAR is delayed due
to more urgent work. We will probably cooperate with one
of our foreign partners in developing and manufacturing these
SMD modems.

*** TNC2X
The docs for the new TNC2X are not yet translated and due to
the pile of mail that has accumulated during my absence, I will not be
able to this before end of november. The TNC had a very good start
and the first series is now sold out. We will be able to deliver again
end of november.

*** Actual pricelist
I have been asked several times for a reproducable actual
pricelist of the BayCom products.
We will not put it on this server, because of our non-commercial
character. If you want to get it, drop a short mail to
kneip@mst.uni-hannover.de
