Are there versions for hardware other than PCs?

BayCom was designed as PC software. Because of the amount of low-level code required to drive the hardware, it is not easy to port it to other machines such as Macs. However, there are other programs that permit you to run a BayCom modem or similar on other platforms:

Commodore C64/C128:

Before designing the BayCom software for PC's, the BayCom team wrote DIGICOM which runs on the C64/C128. The current software version is 5.0. A German and an English version are available from the BayCom team. It uses a modem very similar to the BayCom RS-232 modem, which is plugged into the cassette port of the C64/C128. With an additional extension card (SCC>64), you can operate up to two radios with 1200 - 19200 Baud.

Macintosh / other Apple computers:

We don't know of any software using a simple modem such as the BayCom RS-232 modem. Then again, maybe there is a solution we don't know about. Our advice is to use a TNC instead!

Atari ST1040:

We have seen a program written by an OM from Ingolstadt, Germany. Unfortunately, we have not heard from him for a long time and the current status is unknown.
