The BayCom TNC2X firmware page
On this page you can find the latest firmware version for the TNC2X.
Each program is up to 32 kByte large. You can burn the binary either
in a 27C256 EPROM or two of them in a 27C512 EPROM.
The TheFirmware (TF) 2.7 versions are adaptations for the TNC2X prepared
by Matthias, DG2FEF. They include WA8DED and KISS modes.
A pure KISS firmware has been adapted by DL2DAX. It is specially tested
under TCP/IP NOS software.
The 6PACK firmware was also contributed by Matthias, DG2FEF.
It allows the operation of the TNC2X with the FlexNet software package.
Release information: 6PACK and KISS are still the original versions,
releases havbe not yet been necessary.
TF2.7 is a release from january 1997. Compared with older versions,
problems with DAMA and the EPROM checksum have been removed
All files are normal Binaries. Just download them 1:1 and burn them into the EPROM
