To install, copy the DLL (bayeppflex.dll) into the FlexNet directory. Additionally, you need to install the kernel driver appropriate for your operating system.
Windows 2000: Just copy the file eppflex.sys into the System32/Drivers subdirectory of your Windows installation directory (usually WINNT).
Windows 9x: Just copy the file eppflex.vxd into the FlexNet directory. The LPT port must be correctly installed in the Device Manager.
You may now configure the driver in the FlexNet Parameters dialog.

The old EPP adapter (with the IDT FIFO Chips) results in misdetection of the EPP capabilities of the Parallel port. If you are using the old EPP adapter, select "Force EPP Hardware" in the FlexNet configuration dialog.
On some computers, Hardware EPP does not work reliably. In this case, use either ECP (preferred), or the software EPP emulation.
To install, copy the DLL (baypar96.dll) into the FlexNet directory. Additionally, you need to install the kernel driver appropriate for your operating system.
Windows 2000: Just copy the file par96.sys into the System32/Drivers subdirectory of your Windows installation directory (usually WINNT). Now start regedit.exe. Go to the Registry directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\*PNP0401\*\Device Parameters. Create a DWORD key named EnableConnectInterruptIoctl with a value of 1. After rebooting, go to the Device Manager, open the properties of the Parallel Port, and enable always using the interrupt.
Windows 9x: First, you must disable the printer port in the Device Manager. Then you must install the par96.inf driver by using the Add New Hardware wizard. When installed, go to the Device Manager and adjust the Resources of the PAR96 driver manually. The driver does not have Port autodetection, so you are responsible for allocating the resources correctly (the same as in the BIOS). After rebooting, verify in the Device Manager that the PAR96 driver is running correctly.
You may now configure the driver in the FlexNet Parameters dialog.
